Errors
Branch on stable error.code values and keep meta.requestId with support or audit records.
Error envelope
Every error includes error.code, error.message, and meta.requestId. Validation errors may include field-level details.
Common statuses
401 means authentication failed. 402 means organization billing access or an endpoint-specific business quota denied the request. 403 means the key lacks scope or its IP allowlist rejected the caller. 404 hides missing or cross-tenant records, 409 reports a conflict, and 429 reports rate limiting.
See the full list of error.code values and what each one means at /docs/reference/error-codes.
An unsupported sortBy, sortDir, or filter value on a list endpoint returns 400 with error.code UNSUPPORTED_SORT or UNSUPPORTED_FILTER and, where applicable, an allowed list in error.details.
